The Ghost Sitter

(2) 4-6 Charlotte is skeptical when her neighbor tells her that the house she's just moved into is haunted. Readers will know better, having just met the ghost in the prologue. Griffin's book has several strong appeals: new best friends solving a mystery together, a just-scary-enough ghost girl, and a deathless bond between sisters that provides the book with its resoundingly satisfying conclusion and bang-up last sentence.
