An underwater kelp forest near Tasmania is brought to life through Baker's rich oceanscapes and spare text. When Ben falls into the water trying to free his fishing trap, he is surrounded by slimy kelp plants, but friend and diving expert Sophie shows Ben the beauty and diversity in the kelp forest and its complex ecological system. The stunning mixed media collages are creatively constructed to reproduce the diving experience.
