Eager for a dog of her own despite her mother's strong disapproval, Billie happily agrees to take babysitter Jody's puppy when scientific guru Jody turns the animal invisible in this sequel to The Invisible Day. Notwithstanding some humor, events with the disappeared dog more than strain credulity. To its credit, the unlikely dog caper does reduce some tension between Billie's quite believable divorced parents who share her custody.
