Illustrated by
Scott McKowen.
Repeated small motifs at the opening of every chapter are rendered in scratchboard in this edition of the classic about the exploits of the outlaw Robin Hood. The volume is attractive, but the addition of some full-page illustrations would have created a nice resting place for the eye, as the text is quite dense. Discussion questions about the story are appended.
