The New Young Oxford Book of Ghost Stories

(4) 4-6 The overlong, but generally effective, collection features ghosts that haunt graveyards, schools, and even a computer. Several of the stories feature adult protagonists, but young readers will probably be drawn to the stories that focus on ghostly encounters involving children and teenagers. Scratchy black-and-white drawings accompany the spooky tales. The tight design may be offputting to some readers.
