In a land where only boys can make perfume, Yasmin--a girl--enters a fragrance into the Queen's perfume contest. When the Queen chooses a potion called "Forgetfulness," she forgets everything. Yasmin helps her regain her memory by offering scents that recall different events in her life. Although the story feels somewhat forced, the tall, narrow format and watercolors with pencil sketches in the margins are attractive.
