Turkey rushes over, only to make the same mistake, followed by a pig, sheep, etc. The story ends with "wise old owl" chuckling at their mishaps. Duvoisin's vibrant hues and simple shapes make the farm-set action easy to follow throughout Holl's humorously repetitive tale.
