The Travels of Marco Polo

(4) 4-6 Explorers and Exploration series. Illustrated by Patrick O'Brien. Although more historical context would have been helpful, this is an accessible account of Marco Polo's life as an explorer as he traveled throughout Asia during the late 1200s. The text is clear and straightforward, and the color illustrations are adequate. A reasonable choice for reports, the book also contains a time line and a list of other significant events of the thirteenth century. Glos., ind.
