Because a boy teasing Asa Alfifa Andersen about her name and weight has such a minimal presence in the book, her skirmish with him is not all that memorable. Still, her story remains entertaining thanks to her relatively unique set of circumstances, which include a new baby brother, born ten weeks early, and a mother who overfeeds her.
