The happy and proud Worm family loves spending time together (their entwined bodies spell out "oh joy" in the comic illustrations), but whenever they find a new place to live, their prospective neighbors express disdain and send the family packing. The book's message of tolerance is worthy, but some (perhaps adults more than children) will think the story heavy-handed.
