(4) K-3 Illustrated by Satoshi Kitamura. The "Yes" (an abstract orange creature) starts a long journey to get to a "Where." Along the way, he is plagued by "Nos," but the Yes overcomes the Nos' negativity at each obstacle he encounters. While the metaphor may be lost on a young audience, the cadenced language and expansive watercolor spreads of this U.K. import make it a good read-aloud.
