Pulak Biswas.
In this Indian import with a spare, circular plot and deft use of language, a young tiger jumps into a stream and gets into a scrape: he confronts a goat, which scares him up a tree; then he's captured by a large group of men. After a crisp debate, the tiger is sent back across the stream to the shore where it all began. The two-color art is as bold and evocative as that of Glen Rounds.
