While Grammy and Mom try to talk, piglet Ruben, abetted by little brother Julius, runs amok. To distract them, Grammy provides gum ("Be careful" warns Mom). Ruben promptly swallows his and gets another piece tangled in a blanket--then Julius blows a huge, messy bubble. Spare black-line drawings with red and pink highlights show, with comical details, the petite porcine brothers' gum catastrophes.
