In this adult-pleasing picture book, rhyming text (that could have used a beatbox) celebrates the people who created and influenced this "urban form of art." Three-dimensional clay figures of hip-hop greats set in urban dioramas are silly-edgy but not always recognizable. Rap names, lyrics, and album titles are woven into the text.
