When I Was Built

(4) PS In this story that calls to mind Virginia Lee Burton's The Little House, a house tells of the many ways life has changed since it was built "a long time ago." For example, its low ceilings were intended to hold heat from the fireplace; now a furnace warms its rooms all year. The general text will be easy for the intended audience to understand. The innocuous illustrations lack much detail but clearly show the changes.
