This is a fresh pictorial interpretation of four poems from A Child's Garden of Verses. The text is enclosed in colored boxes across the pages; the bold, blocky pictures are rendered in striking rainbow-hued acrylics. Occasionally the children pictured look almost too old to be engaged in the play described in the verse, but this is an appealing modernization nonetheless.
