Windblowne

(4) 4-6 A kite carries Oliver from his hometown of Windblowne to the Windblowne of other worlds. There he meets other, less-naive versions of himself and of his mysterious great-uncle Gilbert, who created the kite--and a great deal more. It's a lot to keep straight; nevertheless, the story, as contemplative as it is adventurous, suits minds that enjoy bending.
