Yellowstone Moran: Painting the American West

(3) 4-6 Paintings and sketches by landscape artist Tom Moran helped convince President Grant to protect Yellowstone, signing a bill in 1872 to make it America's first national park. Judge's watercolor illustrations, which mimic the style of Moran's work, showcase the majesty of the wilderness that inspired him.
