Supernaturally murdered debutantes threaten to ruin the social season for cousins Emma, Gretchen, and Penelope, especially when Emma is suspected. As the trio explores their witchcraft heritage and learns the secret rules of the Order, the girls manage to both dabble in romance and defeat an ancient evil. In this novel set in Regency London, Harvey's heroines are rather modern-minded, but paranormal-romance addicts won't mind.

Cousins Gretchen, Emma, and Penelope continue their battle to thwart the Greymalkin Sisters' destruction of London in 1814. Additionally, the (somewhat modern-minded) heroines must control their supernatural powers and maintain their debutante social obligations while eluding the Keepers assigned to follow them. Gretchen, however, finds her Keeper, Tobias, surprisingly appealing. Romance, witchcraft, and social convention mingle intriguingly in this series.
