With his brother dead and best friend infected, Benny convinces his remaining companions to set out in search of Dr. McReady, who may have a cure for the zombie plague. But Saint John and the Night's Church continue their mission to end humanity, complicating Benny's quest. The narrative in this final book is exciting and horrifying from beginning to end.
