Illustrated by
Claire Powell.
Stick (“made of sticky stuff”) and Soft (“made of tickly fluff”) live together, but their friendship comes with its annoyances -- they’re prone to getting stuck together. The two try to give each other some space, but that solution makes neither of them happy. The humorous rhyming text is a strength in this silly story of the value of good friends. Illustrations in cheery tones, often in vignettes, lend a cartoonish feel.
