Polar Slumber / Sueño polar

(4) PS This wordless picture book, the premise of which seems lifted from Briggs's The Snowman, portrays a child's dreamy nighttime romp through the snowy wilderness, and the intricately detailed illustrations evoke an appropriate surrealism. There's a superfluous poem in both English and Spanish included at book's end--the only justification for the misleadingly bilingual title.
