The Island-below-the-Star

(4) K-3 Five brothers in ancient Polynesia set sail in a canoe to find an island they believe lies beneath a faraway bright star. This fictional account, told in the style of a folktale and illustrated with attractive watercolors, is somewhat nebulous, revealing only in concluding notes that it is a speculation of how Hawaii might have been discovered.
