When Clementine loses her beloved stuffed rabbit at Luxembourg Gardens in Paris, the rabbit has many adventures on her own before they are reunited. The story has just the right amount of tension for a young listener who worries about the rabbit and sympathizes with the child who lost her. Ichikawa's detailed watercolors do justice to the setting and convey the emotions of the tale.
