"Baddie" dog Butch gives dog Victor a hard time for being a goody-goody. But then Butch's owner shows up and blows his cover, calling him "poochie-poo" and tickling his tummy. The flat images feature great details, especially the attire of the dogs' owners, who resemble little girls playing dress-up, but the silliness doesn't compromise the good case the book makes for being true to oneself.
