Only the most superficial information is provided in these titles, each of which focuses on a particular nocturnal animal. Minimal effort has been put into the books, as generic photographs and lines of text are recycled throughout the series; the photographs serving as animal "maps" frequently have no more than three features labeled; and the "picture glossaries" are overly simplistic and confusing.
