(4) K-3 Illustrated by Bill Slavin. When a bear invades the narrator's summer camp, he scorns the usual pastimes in favor of some increasingly unruly activities. The punch line, "He POOPED on my bed!" will surely elicit laughs (or groans). Despite a couple of awkward places, the rhyming text moves at a good pace, and the textured surface of the energetic artwork gives the bear a suitably furry look.
