Easily overlooked good girl Breanna is determined to stand out. After a cyberbullying incident, however, she needs help from bad boy and Reign of Terror motorcycle-club member Razor, who himself needs help investigating his mother's death. The emotional depth of the opposites-attract story helps offset its stereotypes; fans of Nowhere but Here will enjoy the overlaps with this standalone companion.

During her extended stay, she falls in love with aspiring Reign of Terror member Oz while searching for clues to her own past. A steamy love story helps overcome a somewhat thin suspense plot in this series-opener.
