Just as twelve-year-old Eden (Eden's Wish) is settling into her new life as an Earth-bound genie in Manhattan, she's summoned to Paris, where a power-hungry tech guru is holding her lamp hostage. With the help of genie alums, Eden attempts to rescue the lamp and protect its legacy. After a slow beginning, suspense is built through close calls, deception, and plot twists.

Twelve-year-old genie Eden didn't realize that when she escaped her lamp to live on earth in California, she would be at the center of a centuries-long conflict between genie alumni. To save her loved ones, Eden must choose between her freedom and her destiny. A nice mix of magic and middle-school drama, this fantasy has strong, memorable characters but an oversimplified ending.
