Upon returning from sleepwalking, Greg finds his farm overrun by zombie ducks, ghost cows, and other terrors. Who's he gonna call? Three Pigs Ghost-Hunters! This trio eventually uncovers what fearless readers may have deduced from Dolan's cheerfully chaotic mixed-media illustrations: the spooks are really farm animals in disguise. The art is packed with speech balloons, slapstick humor, and visual cues advancing the goofy story.

Put a bunch of lost and hungry animal astronauts on a spaceship with the forbidden Nuts of Legend, and something is bound to go wrong. And a series of stops to ask for directions only makes matters worse. Dolan's comic-book-style mixed-media illustrations are peppered with speech bubbles and side stories that experienced readers will relish exploring.

"Weasels. What do you think they do all day?" They "plot world domination!" Detail-rich spreads show weasels in lab coats confronting technical difficulties in a mission-control-type setting. Young children don't seem to be the book's intended audience, given its rampant coffee jokes and lines like "We could reconbobulate the hydrostability devices," but this stuff will tickle a more mature (and geeky) readership.
