Little mouse Squeak worries that Santa won't find him and his sibling, Bubbles, when the family goes to Grandma's for Christmas. The sweet story's warm, cozy illustrations picture the critters diligently writing a letter and drawing a map for Santa; Grandma's impressive "Super-Swishy-Santa-Slide" serves as a solution when the mice realize her house doesn't have a chimney.

Robbie Raccoon is concerned when Father Oak begins to lose leaves. Robbie's mother explains that the tree will sleep for the winter, just as they do. Warm, autumnal mixed-media pictures nicely illustrate the story that relies on raccoon behavior to explain seasonal changes but is hampered by inaccuracies (e.g., though the text references their "winter nap," raccoons don't actually hibernate).
