In this gleefully silly entry in the Glorkian Warrior comic series, the "warrior," his talking backpack, and a team of bumbling child aliens go on an adventure. The minimal plot line is drawn out and convoluted; however, hyper-energetic illustrations, goofy wordplay, and a high joke density will win over readers.

In this second overtly silly comic book, the Glorkian Warrior, sidekick Super Backpack, and a baby alien talk about pie, elbows, and eyeballs. At over one-hundred pages, the minimal plot line is drawn out and somewhat convoluted. The illustrations are engaging and silly, though, and the text is full of goofy exclamations and made-up language that will resonate with new readers.

In this overtly silly book, the Glorkian Warrior and his sidekick, Super Backpack, team up to deliver a pizza and meet their heroic destiny. At over one-hundred pages, the slim story line is too protracted, though the candy-colored comics are energetic and the slapstick humor (e.g., a plot point involves the main character punching himself in the face) will resonate with young readers.

One rainy day a bored squirrel pulls out his baby teeth, frees the tooth fairy from a spider web, and is given a nut containing powerful magic. Each spread includes sprightly rhyming text on the left-hand page and comic-panel illustrations--black-and-white until nearly the end--on the facing page. The story's conclusion, in which rainbows color Squirrelly's drab world, is a letdown.
