The playwright of the hit Broadway show adapts and expands his script into a novel about the eponymous orphan who melts the heart of gruff tycoon Oliver Warbucks in 1933 New York City. While the story loses some impact when separated from the show's iconic songs, added material fleshes out the narrative and characters' backgrounds. Ideal for fans of the musical.
