"If the cat laid an egg... / it would be a hen." Five animal classifications are similarly indirectly introduced, but when the author gets to fish, the illustrator refuses to draw a blobfish. The humorous back-and-forth between Segal-Walters and Biggs throughout this meta offering should entertain kids, though the inclusion of scientific information feels forced. The final page provides a general fact about each class.
