(1) PS Illustrated by Taeeun Yoo. A night watchman espies and befriends a stray kitten one night. On his rounds of the construction site, the kitten accompanies him--until, suddenly, she's gone. Fortunately, after a few fraught page-turns, the kitten returns, and happily, the man takes her home to his family. Sullivan's text is brief yet poetic, and Yoo's textured illustrations are full of atmosphere; they glow with the light of the setting or rising sun.
