A spaceship with unknown motives approaches Earth and lands in a neighborhood. Busy, colorful comics-style illustrations depict hysterical adults expecting the worst ("SECURE THE PERIMETER!"; "THE END HAS COME!"), while the voice of reason, ironically, comes from a small boy. The sweet, lighthearted ending teaches a rather heavy-handed (but important) message about not rushing to judgment.

Tatulli explores the sometimes-fuzzy boundary between imagination and reality in this surreal, layered picture book. Henry (in cowboy costume) shifts between fantastical daydreams and breakfast, class, and then the playground, where a satisfying surprise twist is revealed that encourages multiple readings. Tatulli's fine-lined illustrations, with vibrant colors and liberal use of comic panels, are visually engaging.
