Illustrated by
Robert Lawson.
A noise-averse, city-dwelling little woman is pleased to inherit a place in the country. She quickly finds farm life too sedate, so she brings home some farm animals to liven things up. Something is still missing--"BOYS"--and the farm is never quiet again. Teal's story remains fresh and entertaining, with many opportunities for audience participation. Lawson's strong-lined black-and-white drawings bring out the humor.
