Based on the How to Train Your Dragon film franchise's Book of Dragons, this volume profiles familiar species, including Night Fury and Gronckle, and introduces new ones such as the Bewilderbeast and the Seashocker. The simple text doesn't offer much that fans don't already know, but they'll be dazzled by this elaborate production's tactile illustrations on heavy paper stock.

(4) 4-6 Illustrated by Keith Frawley. Super Schnoz, Vivian, and the Not-Right Brothers (Super Schnoz and the Gates of Smell) are back! This time, they must use Schnoz's gigantic nose to prevent evil aliens from using Schnoz's earthquake-level snores to destroy civilization. While many kids will enjoy the booger-based humor, the team's wacky superhero antics, and Frawley's silly cartoons, parts of this less-cohesive second story feel contrived.
