"If your job is to pour but you spill on the floor, just say... / OOPSIE-DO!" Richmond's art, featuring cartoony dot-eyed characters with a range of facial expressions, profiles a toddler making toddler-scale blunders at school and home. Musician Kubart's text may double as song lyrics (singalong link included), but it suits a picture-book format: the peppy rhymes scan when recited aloud.

A young boy walks his puppy through their neighborhood, where they encounter ballerinas, a parade, ducks crossing a road, and, most excitingly, their neighbor's cat. While the digitally created illustrations show a puppy causing mischief, the euphonious text ("A BOING-BOING-BOING is a SKIP-SKIP-SKIP") uses a series of movements--hop up, bend down, spin around--to encourage a lively reading experience.
