A young girl whose favorite story is "Cinderella" decides to play fairy godmother and give her dog a makeover. The dog-turned-girl becomes the toast of society due to her lovely, deep singing voice. Both dog and owner eventually learn that a dog is happiest when being a dog. While the story is only mildly amusing, the lively illustrations extend the droll humor in this British import.
