Large, close-up photos of individual creatures on left-hand pages and small, circular pictures representing the food chain on the bottom right-hand pages reinforce the message that we're all connected.

Each spread includes a short sentence or phrase that describes the animal ("Some live inside a tree. / Some live in a house / just like you and me") and is illustrated with an expansive and dynamic nature photograph.
