Illustrated by
Aurélia Fronty.
Delval paraphrases forty Bible stories featuring animals, from God's naming of the creatures to Noah's ark and the Dove of Jesus. Because the summaries are so short it can be hard to grasp what's going on, but the texts are easy to read and could serve as jumping-off points. The volume is well designed; Fronty's illustrations, though a bit static, are eye-pleasing.
