Fitzgerald's simple song forms the text for this dynamically designed rendition in which a boy loses his letter (in a green and yellow basket), asks people on his city street for help finding it, and eventually gets it back. Unfortunately, the mixed-media collage illustrations, while artistically intriguing, tend to be confusing rather than illuminating.
