Watching a ballet movie at a friend's house, hockey-player Bea is entranced and immediately signs up for classes. It's hard work, but she loves it--all except the troublesome twins in her class. She even tries out for and gets cast in the upcoming production of The Nutcracker. The plot is somewhat formulaic and the pace is uneven, but young balletomanes will enjoy the story nevertheless.
