K-3I Can Read Book series.
Illustrated by
Pat Schories.
Biscuit the dog finds a shy puppy in a playhouse at the park. Biscuit and his owner try to entice the pup to play, but it won't come out until Biscuit hides. The two dogs then engage in a game of hide-and-seek. Uncomplicated illustrations expand this very slight story that uses limited vocabulary ("Arf! Arf! Arf! Arf! Woof, woof!").
