Warren, "an ordinary, average, run-of-the-mill chicken," wants more out of life than pecking and peeping. He proves himself to be extraordinary when, with trusty sidekick Egg, he foils rat Millard's plan to barbeque the chickens. The plot itself is simple, but the compelling graphic-panel layout, witty speech-bubble dialogue, and clean-lined digital illustrations combine to make an engaging package overall.
