The narrator (a little girl in a cat costume) starts this story by saying, "My mom is a witch, and I am her special witch's cat." The witch's cat helps make potions, gets rides on a broomstick, and grows magical herbs. While the upbeat text says one thing, the enchanting pictures--3D mixed-media illustrations, photographed and digitized--show less fantastic, more realistic happenings.
