The lyrics to the Dylan classic run alongside sumptuous acrylics showing a dog parent and child outside, playing hide-and-seek, observing wildlife, etc. Alas, between the arbitrary-seeming repetition ("If not for you... / If not for you...") and lines that don't scan ("I just wouldn't have a clue / Anyway it wouldn't ring true"), the adoring lyrics don't work without music.
