This farce of mistaken identity takes place at an English estate in 1938. Anna, who's supposed to be a kitchen maid-cum-spy for the German cause, is confused with half-Jewish Hannah, who's fleeing Germany to stay with her English relatives. Against the WWII backdrop, the lighthearted tone is sometimes jarring, though the frequent double entendres and romantic misunderstandings are amusing.
