Translated by Kingsley Hart.
Hemulin, Fillyjonk, Mymble, Little Toft, Grandpa-Grumble, and Snufkin find themselves at the Moomins' house, but, sadly, the Moomins aren't there. This reissue of the final Moomin book contains a highly subtle narrative that is frequently pure poetry. Jansson's drawings contribute their usual droll humor and concreteness to the singular creatures.
